Apple iOS compatible, MFi certified :
In order to enhance the data capture experience, the Baracoda i-Fly is fully compatible with Apple iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. Baracoda i-Fly supports the Bluetooth iAP profile and has been officially MFi certified: meaning 100% compliant with Apple performance and development standards.
“No Data-loss” mode and auto-reconnection :
When the Baracoda i-Fly is connected to an Apple iPod touch, iPhone or iPad, scanned barcodes are transmitted in real time to the iOS device. Barcodes are stored within internal memory until they are acknowledged by the iOS application. If barcodes are scanned outside the Bluetooth radio range, they will be stored in memory and automatically uploaded when getting back into range.
Timestamp : The Baracoda i-Fly can associate a date and a time with the scanned data.
Batch mode : This mode enables the Baracoda i-Fly to store up to 10,000 UPC barcodes with timestamp.
Intuitive user interface :
• Same button to switch ON, connect and scan barcodes.
• Multi-color LED for connection and battery status.
• Sound beeps for successful scanning acknowledgement (loud volume option available for noisy environment).
Baracoda Manager for iOS :
Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID provides an easy-to-use iOS application which is available from the App Store: Baracoda Manager. A dedicated SDK to ease the integration is also available from Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID website.
